Working with researchers at Ohio University in the U.S., the ICA has demonstrated the ability to extrude multichannel tubes from copper and copper alloys. Copper multichannel tubes are stronger, more corrosion resistant and present higher thermal conductivity than aluminum tubes and are ideally suited for high-performance heat transfer applications, antimicrobial air conditioning units and applications experiencing corrosion issues.
